Description of Comovibesweater Alpaca Edition Comovibesweater alpaca edition is worked from the bottom and up. Starting with a twisted ribbing edge and then continued in stockinette stitch. On the bust, a decorative V is shaped with an eyelet pattern. The sweater has an I-cord edge outlining the neckline. The sleeves are worked from the bottom and up with long twisted ribbing edges and visible increases on the outside of the sleeves. The shoulders are constructed with large puff sleeves created by pleats. The sleeves should join the body with a crochet edge in a contrast color, this is done to ensure a visible edge which is part of the pattern.
Choosing of size Size (1) 2 (3) 4 (5) The Comovibesweater is designed to be slim fit and will thus expand when used and washed. Therefore, measure yourself and choose the size from your bust measurement (or the widest place on your body). When you knit the Comovibesweater and place it flat on a table, it should have the length measurement shown in the chart below but not the bust measure. When you start using the sweater, it will adjust to your body, which is why you choose the size from your own bust measure (or the widest place on your body).
To get the right length for the Comovibesweater, it is a great idea to try on the garment as you go. The length will be a little shorter (up to 9 cm!) due to the expansion around the bust as you put it on, due to the tight fit. Therefore, the garment will not get the length measurement as written below when you wear it. Remember to try on the top while working it! It is also a good idea to add a little length to the body if you prefer a non-crop sweater – just remember to buy more yarn accordingly.
Needles Circular needle 5 mm (20 cm and 60/80 cm) Circular needle 6 mm (60/80 cm)Double pointed needles (dpns) 5 and 6 mm unless you make use of the magic loop technique, in which case you will need a 120 cm wire instead of dpns for the sleeves.
Furthermore, if you choose the ladder, it is possible to try on your garment as often as you like without losing stitches. Just a tip 🙂
Crochet hook 3, 4, or 5 mm to join the sleeves and the body.
Stitch markers: it is important that your st markers can be opened!
Gauge 10 cm x 10 cm = 14 sts x 20 rows with needle 6 mm.
