Air Vibe Scarf

The light purple Air Vibe Scarf 2 contains 3 garter sts lines between the eyelet pattern and is worked with 2 strands: 1 strand Önling No 10 in the color 3628 & 1 strand Önling No 12 in the color 14.

Description of Air Vibe Scarf The Air Vibe Scarf is worked back and forth from tip to tip. From the first tip to the middle of the scarf, increases are worked. At the middle of the scarf, you change to work decreases. The entire scarf contains the distinctive eyelet textured pattern, shaped by increases, an eyelet pattern, and purl sts. The rest of the scarf contains garter sts. Whilst working, a built in i-cord edge appears.

The scarf comes in two different versions;

no. 1 contains 6 garter sts lines between the eyelet pattern,

no. 2 contains 3 lines.

Size: 17 cm at the widest point and has a length of 118 cm.

The shorter gold version measures 76 cm in length and 13 cm in width.

The Air Vibe Scarf can be worked with 1 or 2 strands of yarn and is thereby an ideal scrap knitting project.

Yarn alternative to 1 strand: Önling No1, 75% merino wool, 25 % angora, 50g/180m by Önling. (The second picture shows the color Bolsana). Yarn consumption: approx. 45 g. Thereby, 1 skein of yarn is enough for an entire scarf!

Yarn alternative to 2 strands: 1 strand Önling No 10, 70% mohair, 30% silk. 210 m per25 g. (The front picture shows the color 3628) held together with 1 strand Önling No 12 55% wool, 45% cotton. 800 m per 115g.

Yarn consumption: approx. 15 g Önling No 10 (The front picture shows the color 3628) worked together with approx. 20 g Önling No 12. (The front picture shows the color 14).

Yarn alternative to 2 strands [the short gold version] (length 76 cm, width 13 cm): 1strand Shiny by Krea Deluxe 80% viscose, 20% polyester, 95 m per 25 g held together with 1 strand Deluxe Silk mohair by Krea Deluxe 45 % silk, 33 % mohair, 22 % baby alpaca.

Yarn consumption: approx. 25 g Shiny Krea Deluxe held together with approx. 20 g Krea Deluxe Silk mohair

Needles Circular needles 4,5 mm.

Gauge 10 cm x 10 cm = 20 sts x 28 rows using 4,5 mm needles working the textured pattern in your choice of yarn AFTER WASH. The eyelet pattern and the texture of the swatch can change when washed, which is why the gauge can change when washed and blocked. Since this pattern is for the Air Vibe Scarf, it is one of the few projects where the gauge is not paramount for the final product. This also infers that the scarf will differ from the measurements mentioned in the description if the gauge is off. The scarf is just as cute in alternate gauges, so do not worry. :-)
