Description of My Chunky Vibe Scarf

My Chunky Vibe Scarf is unisex and knitted from tip to tip in half brioche stitch with decorative increases and decreases. The scarf features an I-cord edge all around, worked continuously as you knit. Depending on your choice of yarn and needle size, the half brioche texture can be pronounced or slightly fuzzy. Hence the name My Vibe, as you can choose the expression and character of your scarf.

The My Chunky Vibe Scarf is worked using one strand of one of the following four options:

1) Merino 70 — 98% virgin wool (superwash), 2% polyester,

50 g = 70 m / 76 yds, Lang Yarns. (Bulky weight)

Yarn consumption: 5 skeins

Finished measurements: just under 2 m x 19 cm (approx. 79” x 7½”).

The scarf grows in length with wear. The fisherman’s rib texture is clearly visible.

2) Baby Lama — 88% baby alpaca, 12% polyamide,

50 g = 120 m / 131 yds, Lang Yarns. (Sport weight / Light DK)

Yarn consumption: 2 skeins

Finished measurements: 190 x 20 cm (approx. 75” x 8”).

The scarf has a fluffy look, which softens the fisherman’s rib texture.

3) Promise or 4) Cloud — 90% virgin wool, 10% polyamide,

100 g = 260 m / 284 yds, Lang Yarns. (Light bulky / Heavy worsted)

Yarn consumption: 1 skein

Finished measurements: just under 2 m x 17 cm (approx. 79” x 6¾”).

The fisherman’s rib texture is well-defined.
